By accessing or using the Sagelix platform ("the Service"), operated by Quantum Howl S.L. ("we", "our" or "Sagelix"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through a prominent notice on our platform or by email.

2. Service Description

Sagelix is a professional dataset marketplace that enables:

• Sellers ("Seniors"): to publish, manage and sell high-quality datasets
• Buyers ("Companies"): to discover, evaluate and acquire datasets for their projects
• Data quality validation and verification tools
• Review and rating system
• Secure payment processing

3. Registration and Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. By doing so, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Dataset Publishing

By publishing a dataset on Sagelix, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the legitimate owner or have authorization to commercialize the data
• The data does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
• You have obtained all necessary consents for the collection and sale of the data
• The data complies with all applicable data protection laws (GDPR, etc.)
• It does not contain personally identifiable information without proper consent
• The dataset description is accurate and not misleading

5. Purchases and Payments

When making a purchase on Sagelix:

• Prices are displayed in EUR and may include or exclude VAT as applicable
• Payment is processed through secure payment providers (Stripe)
• You will receive access to the dataset immediately after payment confirmation

6. Intellectual Property

Sagelix: Sagelix Content: The platform, including its design, code, logos and original content, is the property of Quantum Howl S.L. and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Datasets: User Datasets: Sellers retain all rights to their datasets. By publishing on Sagelix, they grant a limited license to display, promote and distribute the dataset to authorized buyers.

7. Prohibited Use

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Publishing data obtained illegally or without authorization
• Selling personal data without proper consent
• Redistributing purchased datasets without authorization
• Using the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities
• Attempting to access systems or data without authorization

8. Limitation of Liability

Sagelix acts as an intermediary between sellers and buyers. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy or legality of datasets published by third parties, disputes between buyers and sellers, or losses arising from the use of purchased datasets.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms of Service or conduct harmful to other users.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain.
